In 2003 (between Time and Tragedy and Songs from the Shore) quite a few people were asking for a live album. We had quite a few recordings off the mixing desks so decided to put out some "official bootlegs" (if that's not an oxymoron). There was no post-production or anything like - just a collection of our songs played live with mistakes, fluffed lines, etc. but a pretty good feel!

Most of it was recorded at the Pokey Hole Club on two different shows, both with just Nick and Duncan playing. There are also two from a mad Otley Folk Festival late-night show which also feature John Carey.
